The Philosopher

Don’t take yourself too seriously.
We forget that we are nothing more than animals
looking for happiness and trying to avoid death,
following pre-fed commands on nature’s software,
spinning web of philosophies to make this life mean
something it is not, to assign ourselves more
importance than we have got.
It is important to step back and really observe that
beneath these languages, music, States and state of
warfare we are not that different from colonies of
ants.
We are Chimps that smoke flowers and drink wine,
we are on a pale blue dot, we are on a speck of dust.
