Eve and Eve(10 inch)
by Ayirani Balachanthiran
Sara and Reena were staring at the piece of sky visible from their window.
They’d just finished their new routine of 'cleaning-cooking-working-washing utensils-working-eating‘ and were now soaking in the soothing sight of stars dotting the dark blue sky.
It had been four years of living together. They’d shared so many moments of joy and sadness during this period.
Sara had been the only one consoling Reena for months after she'd lost her mum.
Reena was supporting Sara for the last couple of months after she had lost her job due to the Covid-19 crisis.
Neither of them knew what to call this bond that they shared. Or what the future had in store for them.
But tonight they were together and that was all that mattered.
Eve and Eve
by Apurva Kothari
Cursed. Persecuted. Converted by force. Bullied. Abused. Unnatural. Unwanted. Prevented. Silenced.
For being as natural as the sky and the sea and the change of the weather.
Why do we admire the beauty of nature’s creations in all other aspects, yet curse the way she’s designed them?
Adam can love Eve.
Adam can love Adam.
Eve can love Eve.
