Dia Mirza & Sanctuary Nature Foundation join us to co-create the exquisite ‘Call of the Wild’ series. that extend beyond the frame to tell a story.

The Amber Gaze

The humans watched in awe as the magnificent tigress emerged from the wooden box. With a powerful leap, she plunged into the shimmering lake. As she swam, an enchanting sight unfolded before her—the shoal of koi fish, as if drawn by an invisible thread, swam towards her, their vibrant colors dancing in celebration of her triumphant return.

The tigress had accidentally slipped into an abandoned well, its dark depths threatening to devour her. Desperation took hold as she struggled, her powerful roars echoing through the wilderness. Just then, she looked up to find 5 heads peering down from the other end of the well. They slowly lowered a wooden box into the well & she clambered into it; something told her she could trust them.

Now, as the tigress rejoiced, back in her natural waters, gratitude radiated from her amber eyes as she gazed upon the humans. The koi fish, encircling her in a synchronized dance, served as a reminder of the intimate bond that creatures of the earth shared with one another. In that profound moment, a connection formed—a bridge transcending the perceived gap between the wild and the humans.
