The essence of Gond art derives from the intimate connection that the people of the Gond tribe share with nature and therefore each piece from the collection features an element of nature and unveils a magical story behind the same.

Theअनादिdinnerware collection is part of the larger Past.Present.Future. series which celebrates traditional art forms in unconventional ways. Exploring patterns particular to certain art forms, principles of digital illustration are applied to the artworks, to craft unique, one-of-a-kind creations.

A Perpetual Tale

Dots and dashes, traditional to Gond art, are used to create an illusion of continuous movement or timelessness while forming patterns that represent the seed, the tree and the flower, symbolic of the past, present and future.

The Legend Goes…

The ultimate creator, Bada Dev created a crow and tasked him with finding clay. Along the way, the bird foundKekda mal, the crab and together they dug up the earthworm which spewed out soil. Over water, theMakda dev(spider king) spun a web, the soil from the earthworm was scattered over it and thus, land was created. Badadev then released all living creatures onto the land.

One-of-a-kind Creations

Exquisitely crafted organic-shaped, textured wares that will add a touch of rarity and rustic charm to your dinnerware ensemble.

A Foundation For The Future

Holding traditional artisans at the centre, this series encourages a financially sustainable future for them. Each piece sold = 10 meals donated to rural artisans

In India, over 200 million livelihoods are directly or indirectly linked to the artisan economy. Without a financially sustainable future, the artisan community runs the risk of falling prey to a hunger crisis.

This collection envisions a future for them that is abundant. We join hands with Creative Dignity to ensure thateach piece sold sponsors 10 meals for rural artisans.

An exquisite collection beckons you to immerse yourself in the timelessness of the Gond art form.
