-Shipping is a minimum of INR 100 per product. If your order value goes over INR2299, celebrate- because the shipping is on us, and will cost you INR 0! (PAN India)


-Personalised items could take up to 12 days.

-International orders will reach you in 12-15 business days (excluding Saturday, Sunday and national holidays in India). 

-Shipping is calculated at checkout on the basis of the weight of the product and the location.

-You’ll need to pay additional duties and taxes requested by your country. If you’re unable to pay these at the time of delivery, we unfortunately cannot refund you for more information about taxes and duty charges, please contact your local customs office for details.

-You will receive an email & whatsapp message with the tracking number and a link once your order has been dispatched.

-We understand changes may be needed. Feel free to modify your order before it's shipped.

Yes, you can change the shipping address on your order anytime before its shipped. We generally dispatch orders within 3 days of receiving them.

Exchanges and Returns

We take exchanges and returns seriously. If your product is either damaged, broken or if you accidentally received the wrong design, simply send us a photograph within 24 hours of the delivery. We will confirm before sending out a new replacement in 5-7 business days.

-The product did not align with your home aesthetics? we're committed to ensuring your satisfaction. However, in this case we would need to charge any applicable shipping charges.

Unfortunately, they’re not. Duties vary from country to country, and change for each order.

We will be unable to refund any duties paid, as they are paid to the respective authorities in your country.

Orders and Payments

We accept debit and credit cards, UPI, net banking and wallets such as Paytm and Airpay. 

Cash on delivery on orders valuing up to INR7000/- (not available on international shipments)

The order amount will be converted to your local currency from Indian Rupees depending on the conversion rate at the time of purchase.

There are several reasons why your card could be declined. 

1. Be sure to check for sufficient account balance 

2. Ensure you’ve entered the correct card details 

3. The payment gateway servers may be temporarily unavailable. We’d suggest trying again after a short interval.

Bulk orders and Gifting

Depending on the requirement, we will either sample and produce existing designs or partner with an artist to create entirely new designs.

Our team will then assist you with the storytelling for your gift, and once you’re 100% happy with the gifts, we’ll ship them out.

There’s no standard timeline for bulk orders, as the requirements for each order are different.

Production and shipping of our existing designs can be done in shorter time frames. However, creation and sampling of a new design from scratch will require more time.

We offer 100% customisation to help you tell your story right. 

We can help you customise the plate design- either using one of our existing designs, or by partnering with an artist to create an entirely new piece of art. We also offer customisation of the back of the plates (subject to a certain order volume) packaging, story card and gift wrap.

The best part? You can decide which charity you’d like the profits from your order to go to.

If you are selecting a charity of your choice, be sure to select one which can offer an 80G certificate. We will be happy to coordinate with them on the logistics of the donation and procure the certificate for you. 

If you’ll be donating to one of the existing charities in our network, we’ll be happy to provide you with an 80G certificate.

We will give you a letter stating that you’ve donated a certain amount to charity, a proof of the payment made to the charity as well as an 80G certificate.

Currently, we don’t do customised artwork on individual plates.

However, we can customise plates for 50 plates or above. Reach out to us on info@theplatedproject.com for specific inquiries.

Absolutely! Be sure to select it as an add on when you’re adding the plate to your cart, and we’ll wrap it before shipping it out.

We donate 50% of our net profits every month to our charity partner, and our Instagram is frequently updated with the number of meals we’ve been able to sponsor each month.

While we won’t be able to tell you the exact amount from your order which has gone to charity, you’ll always see a ‘Each product bought = X meals donated’ on our website each month. Rest assured, your purchase is making a difference!
